The Story

A long time ago, in a desperate attempt to save her father who was stricken by a horrible disease, princess Kasumi Asuga from the Tamashi kingdom made a deal with the Oni Ma clan through black magic. This deal lead to the shattering and loss of her soul and cursed her with immortality. Such curse is forever holding Kasumi between two realms - living and dead -, linking her with an everlasting feeling of incompletion.

With the ability to freely wander through both realms, Kasumi begins the search for her fractured soul. Bit by bit, she must find a way to be whole again.

Gameplay

Through the seppuku mechanic she can enter the spirit realm and see elements of the world she could previously not see. She must use that power in order to solve puzzles and progress to her soul.

The twist is, that while she can enter to the spirit realm while in any spot, she can only return to her body from the place where she left it, requiring careful consideration in the puzzle approach.

This project was made by a team of 5 in a 48-hour local game jam (IPCA game jam 2018) and won the 1st Prize. The theme was Perspective
